Sparkling Smilez's teeth whitening treatment is NOT suitable for pregnant or lactating women, and for children under the age of 16. Additionally, if you have a gum disease or you require dental work, please avoid having your teeth whitened.
Our treatment takes only less than an hour, and you will already see an improvement in your teeth.
The result of our treatment will depend on each individual and the extent of the discolouration of their teeth. The more stained your teeth, the more dramatic the result will be.
Generally, you can achieve 5 to 14 shades lighter by undergoing our teeth whitening treatment. The frequency of your teeth whitening procedure or how often you use home whitening treatments are also relevant in determining the results you will get. When whitening is done every 6 to 12 months, it is considered a maintenance procedure and results will be less dramatic.
Teeth whitening is a cosmetic and not a dental procedure. The products we use are actually gentler than and just as effective as those used by dentists. All our products are Australian compliant and produced to the highest standards. Teeth whitening, no matter who does it, bleaches stains from the surface of the teeth and does not whiten the tooth's enamel.
Yes, our teeth whitening procedures and products are safe. We use the latest whitening gel approved for use in Australia. In our clinic, we follow the hygienic non-touch procedure where our technician will NOT touch you or your mouth.
Our whitening gel is gentle and safe, and problems are extremely rare. If you have crowns or veneers in your teeth, teeth whitening shouldn’t be a problem, although they will not lighten as much as natural teeth.
You may experience mild sensitivity if you naturally have sensitive gums and teeth. However, this is only a temporary symptom and will subside within 24 hours.
After completing our procedure, expect that your teeth will maintain their fresh, new appearance for about one year. Re-staining depends largely on diet and lifestyle. If you have a habit of smoking, drinking coffee, and eating foods that stain, eventually you will notice discolouration of your teeth again.
